Dr. Kimberly Patton completed her undergraduate degree at The Ohio State University obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2014. She then continued her education at The Ohio State University College of Optometry, where she graduated first in her class to obtain her Doctor of Optometry degree in May 2018.
Upon graduation, Dr. Patton completed a two-year Advanced Practice Fellowship in Cornea and Contact Lenses at OSU, where she studied tear film changes after instillation of various over-the-counter artificial tears to earn her Master’s degree in Vision Science in 2020. Dr. Patton remained on faculty at Ohio State as an associate professor until 2023, when she transitioned to full-time patient care at Professional VisionCare.
Dr. Patton has a deep passion for providing personalized eye care through private practice. She has a special interest and advanced training in fitting specialty contact lenses for a variety of conditions which cause irregularity of the front surface of the eyes. She is also experienced in the treatment and management of ocular surface disease, as well as serves patients in Professional VisionCare's myopia control clinic.
In her free time, Dr. Patton enjoys spending time with her husband, child, and two Labradors.
